Wellness Program

Take that much needed break to improve your overall wellness and join us for one of the following activities. APCO has tailored these to provide you with a well-rounded program on the various aspects of health, including physical activity, and stress management.

There is no additional cost to participate.

Run/Walk Tour of Nashville – State Capitol & Bicentennial Park
Sunday at 7 a.m.

It doesn’t get any more American than baseball and politics. Run through Nashville’s minor league ballpark before climbing the Capitol steps and taking in the city’s history.

Sunday, August 6
7:00 a.m.

Start at Music City Center, Marty Dickens Terrace
Distance – Approximately 3 miles

A tour guide will accompany each running and walking pace group (approx. 1 guide per 15-20 runners/walkers). Enjoy learning more about the heart of Nashville and the great history the area has to offer as the guide provides highlights of the sights and sounds along the route. There will not be official recorded timing with this run/walk tour. The City of Nashville will not be closing roads, so all participants will need to remain on sidewalks and adhere to all pedestrian laws, obey all traffic signals and look for traffic.

Sign-up is free for all attendees and exhibitors and information on how to sign up will be sent out in the Attendee Newsletter. You must register in advance by August 3 to confirm your spot. We will not be able to accommodate on-site sign-ups. Each running tour is limited to the first 100 registrants.

Mindful Stretching Session
Monday at 7 a.m.

Omni Nashville, Legends Ballroom E-F

This class will include a combination of gentle movement, stretching, self-massage, and mindful mobility and flexibility movements. Presented by: Heart of Wisdom Yoga

Run/Walk Tour of Nashville – The Gulch & Music Row
Monday at 6 p.m.

Run through the heart of Nashville’s entertainment industry from which your favorite songs came to be and explore one of Nashville’s hottest neighborhoods.

This session will teach meditation and breathwork practices that will help you cope with stress, cultivate a sense of calm, and increase resilience. Presented by: Heart of Wisdom Yoga
