Community Service Project

We are proud to announce that we have partnered with the Tennessee Environmental Council to host this year’s community service project at APCO’s Annual Conference & Expo. Participants will work together on a creek cleanup project that will remove litter and restore beauty to one of the many nature areas in the local Nashville area. Participants will be working in the shade to beat the heat. Water will be provided.

The community service project will take place on Saturday, August 5, from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Space is limited to 50 attendees and you must sign up in advance. Transportation to and from the creek cleanup site will be available from the Level 2 Parking Entrance of the Music City Center. You cannot drive to the creek cleanup site on your own. Your conference badge will be required.

Due to the nature of this project, it is recommended to wear garden attire clothing that is okay to get wet and dirty– long pants, closed-toed shoes, long sleeve shirts, a hat, etc.

Sign-up Information
Sign-up is free for all attendees and exhibitors; information on how to sign up will be sent out in the Attendee Newsletter. You must register in advance by August 3 to confirm your spot. We will not be able to accommodate on-site sign-ups.
